Lytegem Telescopic White Finish Desk Lamp - Item TL70093
Designed in 1965 by Michael Lax, this desk lamp is part of the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art. Industrial designer Michael Lax makes the most of archetypal geometries in this perfectly balanced design. This high-intensity mini-lamp emits a localized light perfect for reading. The telescoping neck allows the height to adjust from 6 1/2" to 15". The lamp head swivels 360 degrees. The light intensity can be adjusted to two different levels with a switch conveniently located on the base. The cube base is weighted for stability and allows for wall mounting.

Table Lamp Lighting Tips
Just as rooms vary, so too do their uses. For that reason, the number of table lamps each requires will vary greatly. For family areas, seating arrangements or reading chairs, you’ll want bright, friendly lighting that helps illuminate the room but focuses mostly on specific task areas. For entertainment spaces, especially home theaters, you'll want fewer table lamps, as bright lighting would interfere with the movie viewing.
