About Tiffany Lamps
Very few table lamps show the combination of art and style that a Tiffany style lamp displays. The style is named after American painter Louis Comfort Tiffany, who began producing glass compositions in the late 19th century. Today’s Tiffany style table lamp is typified by a translucent, mosaic glass shade of vibrant colors and designs. Often using hand-cut glass, Tiffany style glass can be made up of hundreds of individual pieces of glass.
